Love And Rockets formed in 1985, almost 2 years after the demise of cult goth pioneers Bauhaus. The band re-united Daniel Ash (vocals and guitar), David J (vocals and bass) and Kevin Haskins (drums). Back in the mid-Eighties, when the US alternative scene was just that, Love And Rockets were one of the leading lights. This special release of the band's debut album features a high definition 96 kHz / 24 bit surround mix created by Neil Wilkes from the analogue multi-tracks and also includes three additional bonus tracks from the original session including the single "Ball Of Confusion" and a cover of Pink Floyd's "Lucifer Sam". The original stereo masters, as used on the CD and vinyl, were digitally mixed on to F1 masters in 1985 at 44.1 kHz / 16 bit, so no high resolution analogue copies were created. For the Blu-ray release, Neil Wilkes has created a new HD stereo mix. The release has been approved by original producer John A. Rivers.

Tales of Mystery and Imagination is an extremely mesmerizing aural journey through some of Edgar Allan Poe's most renowned works. With the use of synthesizers, drums, guitar, and even a glockenspiel, Parsons' shivering effects make way for an eerie excursion into Poe's well-known classics. On the album's 1987 remix, the instrumental "Dream Within a Dream" has Orson Welles narrating in front of this wispy collaboration of guitars and keyboards (Welles also narrates "Fall of the House of Usher: Prelude")…

All sounded like nothing you'd ever heard before once Grace had finished with them. This new Hi-Res reissue it's a perfect demonstration of players, writers and production team at the very top of their game, headed up by a singular performer reaching the apex of her career to that point.

This reissue was remixed by Steven Wilson, and includes the new instrumental mixes and flat transfer of the original album.

After being declared the "Best New Band In Britain" and having their glam-pop debut album go Gold in a matter of weeks, Suede were under enormous pressure to make their follow-up album just as much of a media event. Although it did not sell on the same scale as their chart-topping debut, Dog Man Star reached number three on the UK Album Chart and was certified as gold by the BPI in November 1994. This digitally remastered and expanded 20th anniversary Blu-Ray Pure Audio edition features the non-album A and B-sides as bonus tracks.

The first album of original music from Neil Young and Crazy Horse in almost a decade, Psychedelic Pill pokes down pathways that have been hinted at before in this teaming, but never fully explored. New textures emerge in the music, new landscapes in the lyrics. In many ways, Psychedelic Pill rounds out an array of probing works with prominent autobiographical threads.
