This one might just as well have been called Nude's Return. The third in Camel Productions' series of "official" bootlegs opens with a familiar trio of tunes (in fact, identical to 1978's A Live Record) before undertaking a near-complete retelling of Nude. The performance is an April 1981 show at the Hammersmith Odeon, originally broadcast by the BBC and featuring the lineup that first appeared on 1979's I Can See Your House From Here…

Camel Productions' fourth official live bootleg was recorded by the BBC at the Hammersmith Odeon, London, England on 2nd April 1981 during the Nude tour. The performance was edited by the BBC, which is probably the cause for the lack of songs that would have made this a complete live rendition of Nude. Notably in this performance are Kit Watkins flute solos on various tracks.

This 15-track single-disc collection was culled from Canned Heat (1967), Boogie With Canned Heat (1968), Living the Blues (1968), Hallelujah (1969), and Future Blues (1970). Arguably, Canned Heat Cookbook (1969) – a hits package in its own right – could be lumped in since it was the first full-length platter with "Going Up the Country," which was initially only issued on a 45-rpm single. During this era, the Heat was inhabited by Alan "Blind Owl" Wilson (guitar/vocals), Larry "The Mole" Taylor (bass), Henry "Sunflower" Vestine (guitar), and Bob "The Bear" Hite (vocals). Frank Cook (drums) contributed to the band's self-titled debut prior to being replaced by Aldolfo "Fito" de la Parra (drums)…

Gloria Steinem—writer, activist, organizer, and one of the most inspiring leaders in the world—now tells a story she has never told before, a candid account of how her early years led her to live an on-the-road kind of life, traveling, listening to people, learning, and creating change. She reveals the story of her own growth in tandem with the growth of an ongoing movement for equality. This is the story at the heart of My Life on the Road.

The '90s found Andy Latimer releasing compact discs on his own label, Camel Productions, which included a new work (Dust and Dreams), a reissue of Camel's first album, and here a live recording of Camel in its earliest stages. On the Road 1972 features Camel in its original quartet form – Peter Bardens, Doug Ferguson, Andy Latimer, and Andy Ward – playing music that would appear on the band's first and second albums, plus a track from Bardens' 1970 solo album, The Answer…

On the Road 1982 features the band's tenth anniversary tour performance from The Hague, Netherlands. Unfortunately, as the liner notes explain, the original tapes were lost, and the recording presented here draws from the version that passed through the mixing desk…

The most obscure album in the Hollies' entire catalog, Out on the Road marked the second half of the "Mikael Rickfors Era," that two-year period in which the Swedish-born singer provided the group's lead vocals. The album was originally released only in Germany. This is a slicker, smoother, and harder-rocking version of the Hollies than most casual fans, familiar with their hits of the early '70s ("Long Dark Road," "The Air That I Breathe") might expect. Rickfors is firing on all cylinders as a singer, his vocals every bit as expressive if not as compellingly memorable as those of the man he was (temporarily, as it turned out) replacing, Allan Clarke. But the equally dominant personality on a lot of the material here is guitarist Tony Hicks, whose instrumental prowess is all over this record (and not just on guitar, but banjo, among other stringed devices) along with a lot of solid songwriting on his part (in tandem with Kenny Lynch) and backing vocals.

On the Road to Total War attempts to trace the roots and development of total industrialised warfare, a concept which terrorises citizens and soldiers alike. Mass mobilisation of people and resources and the growth of nationalism led to this totalisation of war in nineteenth-century industrialised nations.

Shooting on the road, whether it's on vacation or on assignment, introduces a variety of considerations for photographers of all levels. How do you store the shots, back them up, edit and enhance images in the field, and then merge those images with your master library at home? In this course, Ben Long addresses these topics and more from the perspective of several field-shooting scenarios, including city vacationing and backcountry hiking.

A page in the history….. This album contains just four songs, is something like a mini live EP. The sound is great no perfect but well-mixed, Lady Fantasy is a great song but live is better, Pete adds an amazing keyboard solo at the end of this one, Six ate is a good song from their first album but I would prefer Earthrise or Freefall despite is a great song alive…
