Beverly Jenkins did not disappoint on this book! I purchased the long anticipated Destiny’s Captive a few days ago and finished reading the book in one setting. In my opinion this is Ms. Beverly’s deepest and perhaps one of her darkest books. She went above and beyond and tied up the loose ends on Alanza and Max’s relationship. They finally got their long awaited and well deserved happily ever after. We also got a glimpse into Mariah, Logan, Billie and Andrew’s lives.

With their sleek, cyber R&B sounds and lyrical/video world of cars, money, shopping, boys and sex, Texas' Destiny's Child hardly broke any new ground.
However, The Platinum's on the Wall captures them at their career height, and proves no one was doing this stuff with more grandeur, sass and ice-cool efficiency.

Generally known for their dance floor pop and R&B anthems, Destiny's Child demonstrate their equally compelling command of contemporary torch songs and ballads throughout Love Songs. Comprised mainly of romantic gems recorded between 1997 and 2004, Love Songs features "Nuclear," the first new Destiny's Child recording since 2004. Produced by Pharrell Williams (who cowrote the track with DC's Michelle Williams, James Fauntleroy and Lonny Bereal), "Nuclear" features vocal production by Beyoncé and Lonny Bereal.
