Hypnos 69 was founded in 1994, Diest, Belgium. When Steve and Dave Houtmeyers decide in the summer of '94 to found a band with Tom Vanlaer, also the story of a band that would bring new life to the '60s and '70s psychedelic underground rock-scene of today began: Hypnos 69. The name was appropriately taken from the ancient Greek god of Sleep and Subconsciousness. The number 69 stands for equilibrium and stability; properties that can be retrieved in the marked sound of the band. Thanks to the cooperation with Orange Factory, Hypnos 69 developed a very powerful live-reputation, which placed them at the top of the contemporary psychedelic rockscene…

Expressive band from the Brazilian scene. Their music has strong influences of Pink Floyd and Camel, but the band has maturity enough to integrate their own ideas to the music, resulting in a powerful and melodic progressive rock combination. "Technolorgy" issued in 2002, goes even further on this path with a complete and true maturity. Progressive Rock masterworks of the 1970s that we regard as the gold fund of it.

Multiplex is known as one of the UKs best independent IDM acts on todays electronic scene, and with Xpand their first full length release in three years (since the very well received Pinghaus Frequencies on Toytronic) they show us that they truly deserve this status. Multiplex present a very well balanced album with beautiful melodic and harmonic structures- the trademark of all their music. Xpand is more atmospheric than any of their previous releases on Toytronic or Senton Recordings. The filmic approach to sound, the sense of detail and emotive qualities of the album mark this as the absolute musical highlight on the U-Cover Records label.

Vostok (2002). Inspired by the mysterious depths of the hidden lake under Antarctica, Vostok is a haunting voyage into an unknown space filled with wonder and awe. Craig Padilla masterfully crafts a subterranean soundworld, transforming electronic instruments into subtle abstract beauty that feels no less organic than inorganic, in this visionary long-form ambient work. Vostok is a place of purity and stillness, of undisturbed existence…

Belgian band Mindgames influences are to be found in the whole progressive rock history. Element of Floyd, Yes, Genesis, Marillion and too many others to mention can be found in here. The band grouped in 1997 but it took 2 years until they entered the recording studio to shape their first recording demos. The rehearsals for their debut album took the next three years until the album was ready, in 2002, and was finally released in 2003. This output was carefully structured with mid-long pieces and three epics. It's a very sophisticated music, precisely played and perfect balance between energy and softness. Strong melodies, multiple rhythm changes and a nice instrumental colouring of the songs…
