Wunderlich played the Hammond organ during the first half of his career, and later switched to Wersi organs and Moog synthesizers with which he created his own unique electronic sound. He was open to different music styles and played classical, operetta, Broadway musical, as well as popular music.
Hungarian-born guitarist Attila Zoller was perhaps the least-known guitarist in jazz to the general public. His 50-year-long career, which ended with his death in January of 1998, was filled with professional heights and the wide acclaim of his peers and bandmates, who included at various times: Joe Zawinul (back in Budapest), Lee Konitz, Red Norvo, Benny Goodman, Ron Carter, Tal Farlow, Herbie Mann, Herbie Hancock (who is the pianist on the this date), and others too numerous to mention here. This set is comprised of two dates, both of them recorded in 1970. Hancock plays both acoustic and electric piano.
This collection contains tracks from Nomi's debut and the follow-up, Simple Man. As such, the material is an interesting blend of catchy synth-pop, like 'Just One Look' and 'Falling In Love Again' (sung partly in German) and serious choral pieces like 'Death and From Beyond'. 'Rubberband Lazer', an addictive pop song with weird country infusions and brilliant bursts of synth, and the theatrical' Ding Dong The Witch Is Dead 'with its sing-along chorus are my favorites here.
Kollar Attila is the flautist/flutist for Hungarian group Solaris. He released a new album which is a compilation of his work as a solo artist and also with Solaris. It is called "Progrock '55" and also contains seven previously unreleased tunes.

Klaus Gesing, Bjorn Meyer, Samuel Rohrer: Amiira The trio of Swiss drummer & percussionist Samuel Rohrer, Swedish bass guitarist Björn Meyer and German reedsman Klaus Gesing first came together in 2013 when they released their only previous recording, open_source_music. Before they joined forces, each of the three had had years of experience on the road playing various styles of music. On coming together, their stated intention was to dissolve the borders between improvisation and composition, with the music on that debut recording demonstrating that they lived up to that intention.
