Coda is the ninth and final studio album by English rock band Led Zeppelin, released in 1982. This collection of outtakes from various sessions during Led Zeppelin's twelve-year career was released two years after the group had officially disbanded following the death of drummer John Bonham. The word coda, meaning a "tail" that ends a musical piece following the main body, was therefore chosen as an apt title.

Fragile was Yes' breakthrough album, propelling them in a matter of weeks from a cult act to an international phenomenon; not coincidentally, it also marked the point where all of the elements of the music (and more) that would define their success for more than a decade fell into place fully formed…

Recorded quickly during Led Zeppelin's first American tours, Led Zeppelin II provided the blueprint for all the heavy metal bands that followed it. Since the group could only enter the studio for brief amounts of time, most of the songs that compose II are reworked blues and rock & roll standards that the band was performing on-stage at the time…

Led Zeppelin had a fully formed, distinctive sound from the outset, as their eponymous debut illustrates. Taking the heavy, distorted electric blues of Jimi Hendrix, Jeff Beck, and Cream to an extreme, Zeppelin created a majestic, powerful brand of guitar rock constructed around simple, memorable riffs and lumbering rhythms…

Encompassing heavy metal, folk, pure rock & roll, and blues, Led Zeppelin's untitled fourth album is a monolithic record, defining not only Led Zeppelin but the sound and style of '70s hard rock. Expanding on the breakthroughs of III, Zeppelin fuse their majestic hard rock with a mystical, rural English folk that gives the record an epic scope…

Led Zeppelin is an english rock band from the 1970's. They have many popular albums, but number 4 [no proper title was produced] is considered by many to be their master work. Featuring the hits "Stairway to Heaven", "Rock and Roll", "Black Dog", and "When the Levee Breaks". Classic records, who mastered this release, is a record mastering company specializing in audiophile Vinyl pressings [like this 200gram 33rpm example] , using a custom all tube cutting and mastering process from the original master tapes. They [CR] seek to perfectly replicate the original vinyl pressings in both sound and asthetics [cover art, liner notes, even paper texture, down to a creepy level of detail usually], while eliminating surface noise and gaining new clarity and quality of acoustics compared to standard releases. Very similar to MFSL in almost every meaningful regard, vinyl only obviously.

Back in 1997, Led Zeppelin released BBC Sessions, the band's first attempt to chronicle its heavily bootlegged live recordings for the British Broadcasting Corporation. That double-disc set didn't contain all of Zep's BBC Sessions: a full nine songs from 1969 were left behind, including three songs recorded in March – a session highlighted by the otherwise unavailable original "Sunshine Woman" – that were believed to be lost. The 2016 triple-disc set The Complete BBC Sessions adds those songs as a third disc to a remastered version of the original 1997 compilation, an addition that doesn't greatly alter the overall picture of Zeppelin's BBC Sessions but offers a whole lot of additional value…
