The live album Live in Europe/Stage Struck captures Rory Gallagher at his finest, as he tears his way through many of his very best songs. Though the performance quality is a little uneven, there are gems scattered throughout the record, including smoking versions of "Messin' with the Kid" and "Laundromat."

Catalogue / Preserve / Amass is a live album released in 2012 by British musician and record producer Steven Wilson, known for being the founder and frontman of psychedelic/progressive rock band Porcupine Tree. After pre-ordering this a week or so ago, when I got home this evening there it was waiting for me. No doubt I will carry it around with me for days and days, playing little games, like not looking at it for a whole day, and then…looking at it to see if I still liked it…I'm sure I will. The more I look at it, the more I like it…..hang on, haven't I heard that somewhere before?….

The explosive transformation of Miles Davis’ “second great Quintet” with Wayne Shorter (tenor sax), Herbie Hancock (piano), Ron Carter (bass), and Tony Williams (drums) is laid bare on this release. Although best known from their days in Whitesnake, Bernie Marsden & Micky Moody prove here that good old fashioned blues/rock is far from dead. This album was a taster for their new studio album also being released on Talking Elephant. Here we see the band rocking the stage with classic Whitesnake numbers. Fronted by Johnny Lande Norwegian hard rock and heavy metal singer. Known for being the former vocalist of bands Ark, Beyond Twilight, Millenium, Vagabond, The Snakes, and most notably of power metal band Masterplan, as well as for his solo career as Jorn.

The highly anticipated live album from the band on tour in Europe. Hear originals and their favorite cover songs recorded live in The Netherlands and Poland. Seeing the band live is a much different experience than listening to one of the albums. Here we get to stretch out and improvise, and also deliver our versions of some of our favorite songs in the blues rock cannon. Recorded live in Vriezenveen, NL, Kielce and Rzeszov, PL.

Thrilling cooperation between the Swiss jazz band RUSCONI and the British avantgarde guitar player FRED FRITH (Ex.Henry Cow). RUSCONI is a young trio (Stefan Rusconi -Piano, Claudio Strübly-Drums, Fabian Gisler-Bass) from switzerland playing a very modern and contemporary version of jazz. Their unique style and way of interpretation gave them a large, very young audience. Their biggest success was the album "It is A Sonic Life", with re-interpreted songs of Sonic Youth. The new (live) album followed a cooperation between Rusconi and guitar player FRED FRITH. The musicians met a few years ago and FRITH also contributed parts to one older album of RUSCONI. Both agreed to play complete shows together . This happened between 2012 and 2014 and two of the recordings are now pressed on CD and LP. The A-Side contains an audio recoding from the show in Zürich, B-Side a recording from the show in Hamburg.
