Michael Kamen unleashes a powerful action score to the sequel to the hit film, Die Hard. As performed by The Los Angeles Motion Picture All Stars Orchestra, Kamen revisits some of the music from the first Die Hard score and adds new and exciting material as well. The Die Hard theme is present in only a few places in this score, instead leaving the music to fall on the action side.

This has to be one of the best action scores written for an '80s action flick. The late Michael Kamen had previously written scores for David Cronenberg's 'The Dead Zone' (a great score in itself) and Richard Donner's 'Lethal Weapon' (not as good, it was co-written with Eric Clapton & had too much focus on rock/electric guitar in it). This 2-CD set includes the full score, plus some unused/alternate tracks.

For reasons never made entirely clear, Ennio Morricone's completed score for the 1988 afterlife fantasy What Dreams May Come was rejected by producers just weeks prior to the film's arrival in theaters. Composer Michael Kamen was recruited to replace Morricone at the 11th hour, and for a rush job, it's a remarkably accomplished and creative work, beautifully conveying the possibilities of life after death in a manner that's neither heavy-handed nor ponderous.

'Storm from the East', or 'Aoki Ohkami no Densetu' in Japanese, was released by BMG Victor in 1992 in Japan only. This soundtrack album contains music composed and performed by Tomita and the NHK Symphony Orchestra for an NHK/BBC co-production about the Mongol tribes of Asia. A different soundtrack by someone else was used for the final BBC version, and Tomita's version was not supposed to have been available in the UK.

Island Records announced that the original soundtrack for Amy would be released. The soundtrack includes various tracks that were included in the documentary; including classic tracks from Winehouse and compositions that we're featured in the film, by film composer Antonio Pinto. The twenty-three track album features alternative versions of Winehouse's well-known tracks "Tears Dry On Their Own", "Back To Black" and "Love Is A Losing Game"; recordings of "Stronger Than Me", "What Is It About Men", "We're Still Friends" and "Rehab" from rare live sessions; demos tracks "Some Unholy War" and "Like Smoke"; a cover of The Zutons' "Valerie" performed by Winehouse and Mark Ronson; and a version of "Body and Soul" performed by Winehouse and Tony Bennett. The soundtrack is also the second posthumous compilation album by Amy Winehouse.

Acclaimed composer James Newton Howard (The Dark Knight, Michael Clayton) brings us back to Panem for Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Pt. 2. Howard’s score is an immersive combination of arrangements both panoramic (the brassy bombast of “Rebels Attack”) and intimate (the spare and haunting, violin-led “Your Favorite Color Is Green”) that culminates with Jennifer Lawrence’s gorgeous rendition of “Deep In The Meadow.”

Ori is a bit of a coming-of-age story. The player is put into the role of a forest spirit, who – over the course of his journey – has to find out more about his role within the world he’s living in. We tried to create memorable characters in an atmospheric world and to craft a story that players will truly care about. Amazing and stunning don't do justice to say how beautiful the music is. I'm just so awestruck that I sought out to find the soundtrack and glad it was available. Also if you have not somehow seen the game, I do recommend checking it out. The art is also just as beautiful.

This album by Banco is rather unusual. Can you imagine Genesis with Peter Gabriel making an all-instrumental album or Supertramp with no vocals ? No ? Well, Banco did just that ! And did they succeed too ! In fact, this is a soundtrack for a film of the same name directed by Luigi Faccini. The music is fantastic, never boring. The use of a variety of instruments makes it really interesting. If all soundtrack music were like this… Get Banco's classic albums first then get this one. You won't regret it. If you don't like Francesco Di Giacomo's voice, then get it all the same ! This is typical Banco at its best.

VISION FIELDS are for sure one of the most sought-after AOR band from Germany as they released some top rated albums so far. “Icesail” is their 1992-release and it contains again a brilliant mix of atmospheric Westcoast and catchy Hi-tech AOR. It starts with the super smooth “Mother Earth”, that offers big carpet of keyboards, tasty guitar fills and such a great chorus.
