The legendary Motor City Mad Man, Ted Nugent rode through the USA on the "I Still Believe Tour" and in this amazing show, Ted conjured up an evening of rock 'n roll magic and emotions, pulsating with the American pride he has come to be known for. With a lineup featuring Derek St. Holmes, the original vocalist & rhythm guitarist for the Ted Nugent Band from the 70s, plus Greg Smith (ex-Rainbow) on bass and Dokken s Mick Brown on drums, Nugent is in classic "Uncle Ted" form on this new live release. This man has a rock 'n roll soul like no other. Nugent is pure Detroit Rock & Roll dynamite, infused with a bit of Motown & blues. His guitar playing is superb and mind blowing. The man is a mad talent, no doubt and Ultralive Ballisticrock proves this beyond a shadow of a doubt.
Love Grenade is Ted Nugent's 13th studio album. It was released on September 4, 2007. It was recorded at DRS Studios in Waco, Texas. Sales figures, however, have been low, with the album only selling 3,600 copies in its first week, landing it at #186 on the Billboard 200. The pre-release cover art drew some controversy, as it depicts a naked woman bound and with a grenade in her mouth, on her knees on a platter. He remakes the acid-rock hit "Journey to the Center of the Mind", made popular by his '60s group The Amboy Dukes.
Shutup&Jam! is the upcoming 14th solo studio album by American guitarist and singer Ted Nugent. It features a guest appearance by Sammy Hagar on the song "She's Gone", and is his first studio album since 2007's Love Grenade.
With the release of the Motorcity Madman Ted Nugent new live CD Full Bluntal Nugity, Spitfire has also unleashed his 4 long lost `80s Atlantic albums for the second time on CD as part of the Spitfire Master Series. Nugent/Penetrator/Little Miss Dangerous/If You Can't Lick `Em… Lick `Em have all been given the full bluntal digital remaster overhaul. The original Atlantic CD's sounded horrible. With these new remastered CD's you get the FULL BLUNTAL NUGITY and they have some very dangerous high points now. These CD's hit the bulls eye mark. Sadly these albums when first issued did not go further than reach the Nuge army of fans and get a few new comers due to low promotion from his then label Atlantic. All 4 CD's have been updated with new liner notes on the history of each album buy Nuge & Gary Graff. Do yourself a favor and pick them up. Play these CD's loud and you will rock your brains out. You will be surprised at what you have missed the first time these albums were around. –by Jay Siekierski
