In DC Comics' latest eight-part , master storyteller Jim Starlin takes readers on an epic sci-fi adventure starring Adam Strange, Comet and the reverse Superman known as Bizarro. The title first began in 1950 as a science-fiction anthology starring SF protagonists that ran for 201 issues until it became a supernatural-fantasy title from issue #202 onwards. All in all, the original Strange Adventures ran for 244 issues. In 1999, DC Comics imprint Vertigo released a four-issue mini-series with cover dates October 2004 to March 2005 reviving the Strange Adventures title and concept. In October 2004 to March 2005, Strange Adventures was again revived, in modified format, as the six-issue limited series , which presented a new Golden Age Justice Society of America story incorporating fantasy-fiction themes. The ongoing miniseries started in March 2009 continues the "Aberrant Six" storyline, as well as those advanced in "Rann/Thanagar Holy War" as well as "Countdown to Adventure."
