From 1981-1993, Stevie Nicks successfully juggled a solo career and membership in Fleetwood Mac. But in 1993, she left Mac for good and became strictly a solo artist. Quite similar to Bella Donna and The Wild Heart but not as strong, Street Angel found Nicks taking a fairly rootsy approach and avoiding the type of high-tech production gloss one hears on Rock a Little and The Other Side of the Mirror…

Gabriel Bondage originated from Morton Grove, Illinois, USA around 1973 and continued playing up to 1984. Bands members also had various other side projects up until 1984.Their music can be best described as spacey, great Heavy Prog like organ and keyboard work and along with their UK neighbors, Gravy Train, delivered an underlying religious theme to their music. Most sources show the band formed in 1973 and their first album Angel Dust was in released in 1975. This is seen my many to be their more inferior work. Their follow up Another Trip To Earth was released in 1977 to wider acclaim. They developed quite a strong cult following in the States especially live but sadly never released any other studio albums. The good news is they have reformed and are working on new material.
Angel X, also known as: Angel, Angel Hard, Andy Jonas and Andreas Harde, is member of German pop group "Tagträumer". He was also involved in Michael Cretu's project Enigma in 1993 when he sang the lead vocals on "Return To Innocence". Angel X also worked as a backing vocalist for German pop star Sandra in the 90's. In 1993, Michael Cretu and Jens Gad produced Angel X's first and only solo album "Welcome To The Soul Asylum", but without success.
There is poignant irony in the fact that Enigma's Michael Cretu chose painter Wolfgang Beltracchi, the world's most famous art forger, to illustrate The Fall of a Rebel Angel, his first album in eight years. …
Enigma brings the first album in eight years, and its Japanese edition exclusively includes two Japan only bonus tracks "Sadness" and "Return to Innocence." Also features Japanese original cover artwork & sleeve case packaging. The musical project, known globally as ENIGMA, has proved one of the most successful of the last quarter-century. It has delivered more than 70 million sales across seven albums, 60 Number One albums around the world, and received over 100 Platinum awards. Now, in 2016, Cretu reconnects with that very first multi-platinum album to transfer its bold, pioneering sound-world to here and now. The Fall Of A Rebel Angel is the musical parable of a sensitive artist's view on the human condition. The album tells the story of a protagonist setting off on a symbolic journey of development and change to find a new, fulfilling life.
“Avenging Angel” is Craig Taborn’s distinguished contribution to the great solo piano tradition at ECM, a powerful, purposeful and rigorous album, which rises to the challenges of the format and transcends them. The disc explores the textural dimensions of sound, builds new structures, uncovers a rugged lyricism. Recorded in the optimal acoustics of the recital room at Lugano’s Studio RSI, with Manfred Eicher producing, it’s Taborn’s first disc under his own name for ECM, following on from inspired sessions with Roscoe Mitchell, Evan Parker, David Torn and Michael Formanek.
