Tyketto's debut album 'Don't Come Easy', released on Geffen in 1991, is hailed as a true classic in melodic rock circles. With another three albums and regular touring, Tyketto has a great following in the scene. The new album, 'Reach' offers a more guitar based and 'live' approach to the songwriting, while still keeping intact the trademark soaring vocals by Danny Vaughn and great guitar riffs. A must for all fans of the band and melodic rock!

"Inishmore" is the tenth studio album by American heavy metal band Riot. It was released on January 27, 1998 (Japan, 97.11.12). The album is based on conceptual sagas of Celtic & Irish myths. The Japanese Zero Corporation version has an extended version of the beautiful "Inishmore Suite" that ends with an interpretation of the Irish folk song "Danny Boy" that is not available anywhere else. The Japanese version misses the song "Turning the Hands of Time" that is on the American Metal Blade version of Inishmore, but that is available on the Angel Eyes EP.

Of all the bands that were unjustly overlooked in the early 1990's, none deserved the spotlight more than Tyketto. The band's debut album Don't Come Easy was an AOR/melodic rock masterpiece, embodying everything good about that style of music, and should have vaulted the band into the same arena as bands like Damn Yankees, Bad English, Firehouse, and Giant. Instead they went largely unnoticed…

One of the very first artists to sign to Hospital Records - way back at the turn of the millennium, Danny Byrd’s own inimitable take on soulful, vocal Drum and Bass has become a staple in the scene. His use of house and R&B influences immediately began turning heads with his first Hospital singles Do it Again and Changes. Then, later that year, when Radio One's Fabio championed Danny's remix of London Elektricity’s Wishing Well, his status as a soulful DnB heavy-weight was confirmed. It's always been about quality rather than quantity with Danny Byrd with remixes for High Contrast and contributions to our "Weapons of Mass Creation" albums making up his select output.

Turks in World History by Carter Vaughn Findley
Oxford University Press, USA | November 2004 | ISBN: 0195177266 | 320 pages | PDF | 6 MB

Beginning in Inner Asia two thousand years ago, the Turks have migrated and expanded to form today's Turkish Republic, five post-Soviet republics, other societies across Eurasia, and a global diaspora. For the first time in a single, accessible volume, this book traces the Turkic peoples' trajectory from steppe, to empire, to nation-state. Cultural, economic, social, and political history unite in these pages to illuminate the projection of Turkic identity across space and time and the profound transformations marked successively by the Turks' entry into Islam and into modernity.
