Whilst the same excellent technical content is present as in the first edition, unfortunately there appears to have been a "proof reader's" strike whilst preparing this edition - I have found a number of errors / typos in the example formulae ( by comparing the text with a colleague's copy of the first edition), and it is really irritating to find the number 8 everywhere there should be a degree (°) symbol. A good book let down by some quality control issues in this edition
