La-La Land Records, Sony Music Entertainment and Paramount Pictures boldly go where no soundtrack reissue has gone before with this deluxe 3-CD set of 1979's STAR TREK: THE MOTION PICTURE, composed and conducted by Jerry Goldsmith. The first big screen voyage of Captain Kirk and Mr. Spock was a high budget and ambitious undertaking that introduced Goldsmith's famous and enduring Star Trek march (later used as the main theme for Star Trek: The Next Generation) as the cornerstone of an epic science fiction musical odyssey. This 3-CD set presents the score for the 1979 theatrical release (filling disc 1 and part of disc 2) and also premieres the legendary early "rejected" cues that Goldsmith recorded prior to composing his famous main theme. The 1979 album program (much of which is performed and edited differently as compared to the film) completes disc 2, with disc 3 offering additional alternates (including those heard on the previous Sony expanded release) along with a wealth of bonus material.
La-La Land Records and Paramount Pictures proudly present the remastered and expanded presentation of acclaimed composer James Horner's (STAR TREK II: THE WRATH OF KHAN, ALIENS, GLORY, TITANIC) original motion picture score to the 1992 feature film dramatic thriller PATRIOT GAMES, starring Harrison Ford, James Earl Jones, Anne Archer and Sean Bean, and directed by Phillip Noyce. Horner's intense, Irish-tinged score expertly supports and builds this political thriller's complex characterizations, brooding intrigue and white-knuckle suspense. Produced by Dan Goldwasser and mastered by Mike Matessino, Horner's PATRIOT GAMES score is finally given the deluxe treatment it deserves in this 2-CD set, which contains more than 50 minutes of previously unreleased music. Exclusive liner notes by writer Jim Lochner take you behind-the-scenes of the film and its score. This is a limited edition of 3000 Units.
La-La Land Records and CBS proudly present Star Trek: Voyager Collection, a stellar 4-CD presentation of score highlights from the acclaimed television series starring Kate Mulgrew, Tim Russ and Jeri Ryan. Series composers Jay Chattaway, Dennis McCarthy, David Bell and Paul Baillargeon expand their remarkable work in the Star Trek universe with thrilling and inventive music to such fan favorite episodes as "Rise", "The Void", "Basics" parts I & II, "Lifesigns", "Scorpion" parts I & II, and more!
