In 2015, Jensen released the vibrant Morose Elephant album that captures the flavor of the band’s creative force. Combining seven originals with covers of songs from Memphis Minnie and Amos Milburn plus a traditional gospel hymn, Jensen articulates the depth of his musical vision with help from a number of friends including Victor Wainwright, Reba Russell, and Annie Harris. The disc received even more critical acclaim as the band’s previous release, Road Worn and Ragged (2013), both produced by Jensen. This led to two consecutive Blues Blast Music Award nominations in the Sean Costello Rising Star category (2014/2015).

A Tribute to Jack Johnson is a soundtrack composed by Miles Davis to accompany a documentary film about the life of boxer Jack Johnson. For the score, Davis said he wanted to put together what he called "the greatest rock and roll band you have ever heard." The line-up featured John McLaughlin and Sonny Sharrock (guitars), Herbie Hancock and Chick Corea (keyboards), Bennie Maupin (clarinet), and Jack DeJohnette and Billy Cobham (drums). Produced by Teo Macero, the soundtrack was recorded in two sessions between February and April of 1970. Both sessions took place at the 30th Street Studio in New York City.

Digitally remastered and expanded edition of this 1957 release from the Jazz trombonist, Johnson's second complete album ever in a quartet format. The sessions, with master accompaniment by Tommy Flanagan, Paul Chambers and Max Roach, went so well that material for two albums was gathered (the other album being First Class). As an added bonus, there are two quartet tracks taken from Johnson's previous quintet sessions, as well as five quintet tracks that complete all of the master takes from the latter of those sessions.

Caroline Esmeralda is a Dutch pop/jazz singer, born 26 April 1981 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. In 2007, Caro Emerald was called upon to cut a demo for producers Jan van Wieringen, David Schreurs and Canadian songwriter Vincent Degiorgio. Caro seized the opportunity and recorded "Back It Up". When she performed the song on a local Dutch TV station a year later, the song exploded onto the scene. With only one track on the repertoire, David, Vincent, Jan and Caro started working on a full album, inspired by films and music from the 1940s and 1950s. Schreurs and Van Wieringen set up Grandmono Records to release and manage their music, also incorporating Degiorgio's A&R background…
