Most soundtracks simply feature the film's incidental music or songs that were heard in the background throughout the movie. Not Natural Born Killers. Every day we engage in psychological battle to persuade others or be persuaded by them. The history of persuasion dates back to the Ancient Greeks, who valued rhetoric as an essential skill. Retrospective that highlights the best film scores from the acclaimed soundtrack composer. Though best known for his work in many of the Bond films, Barry has composed many other great movie themes during his 40+ year career Not only does this collection include Bond classics like 'Goldfinger' and 'Diamonds Are Forever' (both sung by Dame Shirley Bassey), it also features many other musical moments from films like 'Midnight Cowboy', 'Dances With Wolves', 'Out Of Africa', 'Born Free'(sung by Matt Monro) and more. Like John Williams, Barry's style is easily identifiable yet each theme is unique in it's own way.
Excellent collection of TV and Film themes. Worth having for the beautiful suite of themes from 'The Adventures Of Robinson Crusoe' alone. These are not the originals, but new versions by The City Of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra, who are excellent, and often used by Silva Screen. Electronic scores are realised by Mark Ayres, of the BBC Radiophonic Workshop. Definitely worth having.
