Back from a short break, Finnland's Sleaze-Rockers RECKLESS LOVE return with a bang! "InVader" shows the four-piece in best shape. Frontman Oli Herman, guitarist Pepe Reckless and the guys really nail it! If you're into CRAZY LIXX and CRASHDIET, you gotta love this Finnish outfit. Reckless Love is the debut, self-titled album from Finnish glam metal band Reckless Love. The album was released on February 10, 2010 on Spinefarm Records and entered the Finnish National Charts at number 13. A great debut offering by a band that sounds like the 80's!
Animal Attraction is the second album from Finnish glam metal band Reckless Love. It was released on November 7, 2011 through Spinefarm Records and debuted at number 10 on the national Finnish Charts. Although their image implies their sound would be sleazier, what you actually get is Def Leppard and Bon Jovi inspired stadium rock, with huge radio friendly sing-along choruses. It’s all highly polished stuff with hooks aplenty and a lush sound which should cross them over into mainstream circles. If you are a fan of 80′s style hard rock and pop metal, you are going to love this set of tunes on Animal Attraction!
Spirit is the third album by Finnish glam metal band Reckless Love, released on 2 September 2013 through Spinefarm Records / Universal Music. The album peaked at No. 3 on Finland Albums Top 50 music chart.
Since its release in 1984, 'Reckless' has sold over 12 million copies worldwide. It has spawned huge hits such as 'Run to You', 'Kids Wanna Rock', 'Somebody', 'Summer of '69', 'One Night Love Affair' and 'It's Only Love' a duet with the incomparable Tina Turner. 'Reckless' also gave Bryan his first U.S. #1 on Billboard with 'Heaven' as well as a Diamond Award for over a million sold in his home country of Canada. The album was the turning point in Adams' career, leading him to tour all over the world and garner legions of fans with his legendary live shows.
It's obvious from the greasy opening blues vibe in "Exodus of Venus," the title track of Elizabeth Cook's first album in six years, that something is very different. Produced by guitarist Dexter Green, this set is heavier, darker, and harder than anything she's released before. Its 11 songs are performed by a crack band that includes bassist Willie Weeks, drummer Matt Chamberlain, keyboardist Ralph Lofton, and lap steel guitarist Jesse Aycock. The tunes are drenched in swampy electric blues, psychedelic Americana, gritty R&B, and post-outlaw country. Cook has been tried by fire these past few years. She's endured six deaths – including her parents – a divorce, a stint in rehab, and more. It slowed her writing to a crawl. Exodus of Venus is her way of telling that story, and as such, its songs often stray from the narrative storyteller's manner she's previously employed in favor of a more jarring poetic style that still communicates directly.
