Limited two CD edition includes a bonus CD that contains six additional tracks. 2010 release, the long awaited third album from this veteran British band led by Simon Toulson-Clarke. Red Box initially found fame in the mid '80s with hit singles such as 'Chenko', 'Lean On Me' and 'For America'. This is the band's first new material for 20 years since the release of "Motive" in 1990. Produced by Toulson-Clarke, the album features the double A-side single 'Hurricane'/'Brighter Blue'.
Although he is universally considered among the most important figures in rock & roll, Eric Clapton has not had consistent success in translating his stature into record sales, partially because he is, in essence, a great blues guitarist rather than a great pop/rock singer/songwriter…
A pivotal album for the Red Hot Chili Peppers, 1989's Mother's Milk turned the tide and transformed the band from underground funk-rocking rappers to mainstream bad boys with seemingly very little effort. Mother's Milk brought them to MTV, scored them a deal with Warner Bros., and let both frontman Anthony Kiedis and the ubiquitous Flea get back into a good groove following the death of co-founding member Hillel Slovak…
"Rising" begins with the title song, "Rising". It is an oration about light rising against the dark and in the background mysterious music is playing. A unique way to begin a CD! Included are old-time rock favorites such as "Smoke on the Water", "Thunderstruck" "We Will Rock You" and "The Lion Sleeps Tonight". You have heard none of these songs until you have heard the bagpipes included in the renditions done by Celtica-Pipes Rock. "Rising" is the debut album from Celtic Rock Band Celtica.

With Sun/Moon, Somei Satoh speaks with the ancient, distinct voice of Buddha, with enough melodramatic romanticism to stir the emotions of even the most Western ears. Perhaps less cinematic than his previous album, Toward the Night, but no less passionate in tone, with gorgeous, rich dialogue between shakuhachi and koto that circulates between whispers, cries, gasps, and deep contemplation. The opening piece, "Kougetsu," is the sound of a rock garden minding its own business, a dragonfly dreaming restlessly amongst the bamboo. "Sanyou" follows in much the same way, in an expression of (as the composer puts it) "the purity of the early morning air." Shin Miyashita plucks his 17-string koto with patience, reverence, and in perfect symbiosis with Akikazu Nakamura, a stoic virtuoso on the shakuhachi.
