Returning to the studio after a brief hiatus, Rhino Bucket deliver this 11-song session that is frighteningly similar to Bon Scott-era AC/DC. In fact, the comparisons are so similar that it's easy to accuse lead vocalist Georg Dolivo of outright stealing Scott's style and the rhythm guitar from Malcolm Young…

Rhino Bucket's original line up performs a blistering set at the infamous Coconut Teaszer on Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood, CA. The set was recorded and aired on a prominent radio program, but aside from some scattered bootleg cassettes, the tapes were all but lost - until now! Remixed and remastered, the tapes capture the original Rhino Bucket line-up fresh off tour and at the top of their game!

Rhino Bucket's novelty value stemmed from the fact that the group was not a novelty, but rather a band capable of replicating the sound and feel of classic AC/DC with eerie and chilling accuracy…

Rhino Bucket spits out a thick, heavy rock in the style of the idols AC/DC. The riffs are more important the song and, in the band's favor, they come up with a fair share of solid hooks. There's not enough killer material to make Get Used To It completely interesting, but the chunky chords and scathing vocals make it an entertaining listen for diehard AC/DC fans…

The Hardest Town (2009) is the fifth studio album by American hard rock band Rhino Bucket. It is their second album to feature Simon Wright (formerly of AC/DC) as drummer. The band played over 100 shows in support of the album in 31 states and 15 countries…

This is basically the album AC/DC never got to make with deceased singer (and rock'n'roll God) Bon Scott. Rhino Bucket's self titled debut is a celebration of their heroes' sex'n'booze-fueled three-chord mayhem, and singer Georg Dolivo's nasal growl is a dead-ringer for the above-mentioned Scott…

Rhino Bucket's Who's Got Mine has bar band rock with a Rolling Stones-ish edge, driven by fuzzy assertive guitar chords and slightly jarring, hoarse vocals. Though the overall sound isn't far from mainstream guitar rock, the songs have a somewhat snide chip on their shoulder, that of guys who bear their emotional scars with pride. The music's not quite as nasty as the lyrical attitude, which sometimes leaves the feeling these guys are always on the run or about to split town to escape trouble…

Make no mistake, Rhino Bucket attracted several antagonists keen to shoot ‘em down and pull them over the coals for resembling prime era AC/DC. Of course, right thinking individuals having heard the band’s music, instantly dismissed the complaints as irrelevant. Sure, Rhino Bucket certainly took a good look at the kings of boogie, but they were walking their own path to enlightenment, making for compelling listening. Formed in Los Angeles during the late 80s, the band made a conscious effort to avoid any hair band clichés and concentrate d instead on building a grass roots reputation for serious riffing, packing out sweat soaked clubs…

They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. In the case of Rhino Bucket that could almost be true, with their uncompromising brand of riff-rock making them a close second cousin to Bon Scott era AC/DC. Not that they are mere impersonators of the great Australian rockers, far from it. For Rhino Bucket it's all about the cut and thrust of rock at its most ferocious and untamed. Formed in Los Angeles during the closing years of the 1980s, Rhino Bucket stuck out like a sore thumb by daring to ignore makeup and hairspray, adopting instead a rough hewn look and approach, a style that set them apart from the baying hordes looking to out glam each other. This was a band content to steer clear of the usual clichés and focus instead on killer riffs and uncompromising energy. Produced by Daniel Rey (Ramones, Circus Of Power, Raging Slab) and signed to Warner Brothers Records, this, their debut album, was issued in 1990 to a great reaction from the rock fraternity…
