Since I am not selfish, I want to share this LP "High tension wires" from virtuoso guitarist Steve Morse (Dixie Dregs, The Dregs). If I could describe this work comes to me only one word: delicious.

Time to listen some ancient music, in this ocassion to the natural heirs of David Munrow & The Early Music Consort: The Broadside Band, extraordinary British band of early music, specializing in early baroque. I advise hear their particular version of "Greensleeves", terrific!

Essential: a masterpiece of prog-folk music
It is almost impossible to provide an objective review of one of the theme tunes of my childhood. This accompanied Thomas Kinsella and Louis le Brocquy's (I'm sure I misspelled that) fabulous transaltion& brush drawings of the The Tain (which was compulsory study at school).
Steeleye Span ‎- Parcel Of Rogues (1973) Chrysalis/CHR 1046 - Original UK Demo Pressing - LP In 24bit/96kHz/NEW 2016 RIP!

Steeleye Span ‎- Parcel Of Rogues
Vinyl | LP Cover (1:1) | FLAC + cue | 24bit/96kHz & 16bit/44kHz | 900mb & 200mb
Label: Chrysalis/CHR 1046 | Release: 1973 | Genre: Progressive-Folk

Essential: a masterpiece of prog-folk music
The same Steeleye Span lineup that produced their best album up to that point, "Below the Salt", was back for another run, even bolder and more in-your-face.
As with its predecessor, filler is kept to a minimum, with the weakest parts continuing to be those that are subject to least amplification and rearrangement, such as "The Ups and Downs", in which this lineup proves it cannot handle the silly singalong as well as its progenitors, even if it is in every other way superior. Instrumentals were rarely their forte, and this trend continues with the thankfully short "Robbery with Violins".
Joan Baez - Diamonds & Rust (1975) A&M Records/QU-54527 - US Quad Pressing - LP/FLAC In 24bit/96kHz

Joan Baez - Diamonds & Rust
Vinyl | LP Cover (1:1) | FLAC + cue | 24bit/96kHz & 16bit/44kHz | 900mb
Mastered At JVC Cutting Center By [Quad Mastering] Darrell Johnson
Label: A&M Records/QU-54527 | Released: 1975 | Genre: Country-Folk

With the Vietnam War winding down, Joan Baez, who had devoted one side of her last album to her trip to Hanoi, delivered the kind of commercial album A&M Records must have wanted when it signed her three years earlier. But she did it on her own terms, putting together a session band of contemporary jazz veterans like Larry Carlton, Wilton Felder, and Joe Sample, and mixing a wise selection from the work of current singer-songwriters like Jackson Browne and John Prine with pop covers of Stevie Wonder and the Allman Brothers Band, and an unusually high complement of her own writing.
