Over 50 years ago, Larry, Steve, and Rudy Gatlin started singing in their little hometown of Abilene, Texas, and from there went on to make music history. Over the course of a four-decade career that has taken the Gatlin Brothers from dusty Texas stages to White House performances, from Broadway to Grammy Awards to the top of the country charts, there has been one unifying element, music.
Capitol's Collection of Roxette Hits: Their 20 Greatest Songs collects 12 album tracks, a couple of remixes, four singles, and two new cuts ("Reveal" and "One Wish") that dutifully sum up the hook-filled careers of Swedish pop masters Marie Fredriksson and Per Gessle…
20 Greatest Hits contains every one of Loretta Lynn and Conway Twitty's hits from the '70s, including the number one singles "After the Fire Is Gone," "Lead Me On," "Louisian Woman, Mississippi Man," "As Soon As I Hang Up the Phone," and "Feelins'." In addition to the obivious hit singles, there are a number of lesser-known album tracks which are, with only a few exceptions, the equal of the hits. In short, 20 Greatest Hits presents the very best of perhaps of the greatest country duet team of the '70s and is a necessary addition to any country record collection.

This two-fer combines two classic records by the Everly Brothers, simply the greatest close harmony duo in rock history. Containing both of the duo's 1958 eponymous debut and the 1984 Rhino compilation THE FABULOUS STYLE OF THE EVERLY BROTHERS, this collection features many of the songs that sent them and their harmonic thirds to the upper reaches of the Billboard charts: "Bye Bye Love," "When Will I Be Loved," "Wake Up Little Suzie," and "All I Have to Do is Dream," among many other lesser known gems. A de facto greatest-hits album, the set is a perfect diving-off point for those interested in the many highlights of the Everlys' early years.
Documentary which celebrates, over the period covering the end of the 1950s and the beginning of the 60s, the phenomenon of the Everly Brothers, arguably the greatest harmony duo the world has witnessed, who directly influenced the greatest and most successful bands of the 60s and 70s - the Beatles, the Stones, the Beach Boys and Simon & Garfunkel to name but a few. Don and Phil Everly's love of music began as children, encouraged by their father Ike. Little Donnie and Baby Boy Phil sang on Ike's early-morning radio shows in Iowa. After leaving school, the brothers moved to Nashville where, under the wing of Ike Everly's friend, the highly talented musician Chet Atkins, Don and Phil signed with Cadence Records.

Both the DVD and CD were certified Gold less than a month after their release.
Probably the best single CD collection of CCR. This is the first press issue from Fantasy Records and has a DR14 which is the highest score I have seen of this album on a CD. Some sources list this as 1990 and others list it as 1991. Note that this is the first press issue from Fantasy but not the first issue of this album on CD.
