"Alhambra" is an EP by The Tea Party and was used as a bridge between The Edges of Twilight and Transmission albums. It includes four intricately re-worked acoustic songs from The Edges of Twilight and two others; the first a song entitled "Time" with Roy Harper on vocals, the second a remix of "Sister Awake" by Rhys Fulber. This album is an exceptional album like all Tea Party albums.
"The Edges of Twilight" is the third album by The Tea Party. Like Led Zeppelin some 25 years ago, the Tea Party draw from a wealth of influences and cultures to create a sound uniquely their own, exotic and earthy, with neo-progressive flourishes and Middle Eastern-sounding melodies. On The Edges of Twilight they start off with a hefty punch of finely crafted, hypnotic hard rock, and then ease the listener into a world where piano ballads, the blues, and hypnotic, sitar-laden meditations seem to fit together perfectly.
